Radical Trust Group — Advisory for decisions under scrutiny
Trust isn't declared. It's proven.
We're a consultancy built on one discipline: replace assurance with evidence. Our counsel helps leadership teams reach decisions they can defend — not just decisions they can announce.

The starting point
Every business already runs on a certainty production model. Most have never named it.
We take the time to actually understand how your organization produces certainty today — then help you unlock it deliberately, at whatever scale and scope the moment calls for: one decision, one function, or the whole business.
01
We understand it
Real time spent with the people and decisions that show how certainty actually gets made in your organization — not a rushed workshop, but the depth it takes to see where it's deliberate, where it's assumed, and where it's quietly missing.
02
We energize it
Not a new framework imposed from outside. The model you already run on, strengthened and made explicit — sized to what's actually needed, whether that's one team's judgment or how the entire company operates.
03
We apply it
Then we put it to work at whatever scale the moment calls for — a single high-stakes decision, or the operating model of the business itself. The scope is set by what you're facing, not by a fixed methodology we're trying to sell you.
The leader is a pressure vessel. And pressure vessels don't wear out gradually. They hold, and hold, and hold, and then they don't.

How we work
Engagements built for leadership under scrutiny
Four ways in, below. Every engagement is led personally by our principal. When the scope needs more hands, we staff it from a working network of accomplished consultants across crisis leadership, security, and organizational strategy — so you're never handed off to a junior team while the person you actually hired works something else.
Decision Audits
Fixed scopeA structured stress-test of a major decision before it's announced — the acquisition, the reorg, the pivot. We find the gaps in the reasoning while there's still time to close them.
Trust Architecture
3–6 monthsFor organizations rebuilding after a rupture — a leadership change, a public misstep, a merger. We rebuild the internal systems that let people trust decisions again, not just the people making them.
Leadership Counsel
RetainerOngoing advisory for a principal or executive team — a standing, candid second read on the decisions that don't have an obvious right answer.
Manuscript-to-Method
Publishing + counselWe help an executive turn hard-won judgment into a defensible, teachable method — and, where it warrants it, a published book. Certainty Inc. is one recent example, published under our imprint.
How an engagement runs
01
Scoping call
You bring the decision. We tell you plainly, before any contract, whether it's ours to take on.
02
Staffed to the problem
Led directly by our principal, and staffed from our network of accomplished consultants when the scope requires it.
03
A defensible outcome
Not a slide deck. A decision, or a system, built to hold up when your board or your people question it.

First Edition, 2026 · Radical Trust Group
“Every company is in the certainty business. Most don't know it. Until they're dying.”
Framed as the employee handbook nobody hands you, Certainty Inc. argues that the moment you take responsibility for other people's work, you've accepted a job that was never posted: manufacturing certainty for everyone counting on you. Drawing on two decades in crisis leadership — including building Amazon's first crisis management function from scratch — Justin Karim traces how companies rarely die of one bad decision. They die of drift: uncertainty that quietly accumulates because nobody was ever assigned to eliminate it. The book moves in three parts, The Disease, The Reframe, The Practice, from diagnosing the drift to naming what leaders actually produce to building the discipline that manufactures certainty deliberately, at every altitude of an organization.
Selected reading, from across the manuscript
Part I · Chapter TwoThe Uncertainty Ledger, p. 25
“Certainty, the thing that determines whether all those other assets actually convert into motion, has nothing. No owner, no instrument, no line item. It is the largest unaudited account in your company.”
Part II · Chapter FourThe Absorption Principle, p. 52
“When certainty about the world is unavailable, the job doesn't wait for it. The job becomes manufacturing a different certainty.”
Part III · Chapter NineThe Last Question, p. 106
“The leader is a pressure vessel. And pressure vessels don't wear out gradually. They hold, and hold, and hold, and then they don't.”
